Created interactive and immersive experiences using Unreal Engine to support COSM's technology and experience use cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of landscape/environments (Including 3D mesh and materials) using Gaea.

  • Creation of 3D assets using Rhino 7 and UV mapping. Quixel Mixer for texturing of assets.

  • Creation of 8k Runtime Virtual Textures for landscapes/blending in UE4.

  • Composing levels (Including environment effects / rigging lighting) in UE4.

  • Importing / Application / Optimization of Meshes and Materials.

  • Importing / Exporting assets via Datasmith and Visual Dataprep.

  • Importing media assets (Apple Pro Res and .mp4 files with Alpha channels) in varying resolutions with the ability to pause/play/stop in UE4.

  • Creating user interface widgets (Pause, Settings, Main Menu) screens within UE4.

  • Creating trigger events in UE4.

  • Rigging camera movement to splines to create automated tracking shots in UE4.

  • Creating character animations within 3DS Max and importing them into UE.

  • Rigging/animating characters/vehicles/other assets to splines to move at runtime in UE4.

  • Retargeting skeletal meshes / import Mixamo animations.

  • Development of player controls/mechanics (within Blueprints) and cameras in UE4.

  • Creation of local 4-player multiplayer with ability to play on nDisplay in UE4.

  • Creation of custom player viewports that enables audiences and players to spectate and play games on the same screen in UE4.

  • Creation of Niagara particle effects in UE4.

  • Creation of “Power Ups” via blueprints to give players advantages when picking items up in UE4.
